International School of Ministry

The International School of Ministry is part of The Christ Life World global Missions Mandate. It functions to, amongst others, train and prepares faith-propelled Ministers in the body of Christ and missionaries for the proper equipping of the body of Christ and end-time harvest of Souls in Nations of the world.

It’s primary focus is to train Ministers and Christian Leaders who can further the vision of making men like Christ. God had spoken to His servants, Dr Able and Pastor Eileen about the worst crisis in the world “the identity crisis” and how the Church has walked in ignorance of her true identity and place in Christ. This ignorance has led to the defeatist mentality that we now see in the Church, further leading to a form of mediocre Christianity. This is why the central focus of training you will receive at The International School of Ministry is Christ Consciousness.

The International School of Ministry over the past few years has trained and equipped men and women to function in a better and more efficient way in their individual calling and ministry. The International School of Ministry works in collaboration with identified Charismatic-oriented Schools and agencies across the nations of the world.

The International School of Ministry has been designed for the following class of people in the body of Christ:

• Everyone with a longing to know and serve God better.
• Everyone with a deep love for God and longing to discover their calling and gifting.
• Everyone with a gift or calling into Christian Ministry.
• Everyone with a calling to go to the nations of the world to minister Christ.
• Every Pastor, Evangelist, Teacher, Apostle and Prophet wishing to become more effective in Ministry.

Course Duration

The International School of Ministry is tailored to run as a Distance Learning Program but with a provision for students to attend class at least once a week. The classroom experience is to allow for students and lecturers to interact, carry out group work, submit assignments and undertake practical academic and spiritual exercises where the need arises. In the duration of the program students are expected to put in a maximum of 48hours of classroom work (a minimum of 16hours every month) Lectures and classroom work has been simplified and made exciting so that everyone with a commitment to learn can easily complete the program.

Classes and Lectures

Classes hold once a week on a Saturday. From 8:00hrs to 14:00hrs. Attendance in class is compulsory for all registered students.

Couse Materials and Textbooks

Textbooks covering all subjects in the program are made available to students as soon as they have made payment for them. In the course of the program, more handouts may be given out to the students at an extra cost.

Application and Registration

Enrollment forms may be downloaded, completed and returned to the School. Students who have been accepted into the program will be notified and are expected to pay for their course material.

For now, there are no enrollment or tuition fees. The International School of Ministry is free.

Certificate

On completion of the program, the student will receive a qualification certificate, a transcript of studies completed and a letter of congratulation. The qualification will only be awarded upon the successful completion of all subjects in the program.

Certification is subject to the approval of the academic board. The academic board reserves the right to withhold or withdraw a qualification. Students are expected to pay for their certificates.

Graduation

At the graduation ceremony, qualifications are officially conferred provided student has satisfied the expectations of the academic board. Students have to enquire from the International School of Ministry office, details and costs of the graduation ceremony.

Academy Wear

The following is the description of graduates’ academic wear adopted by the International School of Ministry:

• Black/Maroon graduation gown, black mortarboard with black tassel and black hood with Bordeaux band.

Ordination/Recognition

Although the prerequisite for consecration or ordination into Ministry or the Christian Clergy vary amongst denominations, the International School of Ministry as the training arm of The Christ Life World can recommend an interested graduate of the school for Ordination and Licensing at the annual Convention of The Christ Life World. This however, is subject to further Ordination conditions as required by the Central Executive Council of The Christ Life World.

All textbooks, instructions, tutorials, assessments, examinations and communications from the International School of Ministry are provided in English.
