Greet our new Bishop: Dr Able's Consecration Service as Bishop of The Christ Life World on Super Sunday, 18 April 2021
With lots of well wishes from all over the globe, our Presiding Pastor of the Christ Life World, our father, our mentor, our life coach, our apostle, our prophet, our very own dear Man of God, Dr Able Akpanke has been officially consecrated as the Bishop of The Christ Life World.
In a ministry spanning 30 years, Dr Able has come from humble beginnings as a son of a missionary in Nigeria, to become the head of his own international ministry in South Africa.
The consecration was conducted by the highly accoladed Archbishop Dr Professor Emmanuel Christian Ketsekile of Emmanuel Christian Centre International, the Dean of Emmanuel Christian University International. The service was attended by dignatories from all over.
The theme Scripture revolved around 1 Timothy 3, speaking about the ordination of a bishop and the requirements that needed for someone to take up the office of the bishop:
1Ti 3:1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
1Ti 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
1Ti 3:3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
1Ti 3:4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
1Ti 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
1Ti 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
1Ti 3:7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
Meeting and exceeding all the requirements, it was clearly the right time for Dr Able to take up the office of a bishop and take his ministry to the next level.
We congratulate our Bishop in his appointment into his new office, pray that the Lord will use him even more mightily than ever before and use his ministry to keep on touching the nations of the world, Hallelujah!
The Christ Life World 18 April 2021.
